Interior Design - Chinese Red

Now that my software is cooperating with me, I am now able to post the interior design that goes with last week's Hump Day Hue and Fashion Post.

My intentions with this design was to go obnoxiously loud with the "Chinese Red" by Pantone, because my personal style is soft and airy as far interior design goes.  I was hoping to create something that pushed me out of my comfort zone, which I have accomplished and I love it.

Hump Day Hues - Chinese Red

This week's Hump Day Hue goes to Pantone's Chinese Red.  This color is a red that is striking, bold, and beautiful!  It is the infamous POP of color.  If your home is monochromatic, and you want to add some serious wow, add a big red vase or some pillows to you sofa!  Confidence is not something you should lack when sporting the head of the rainbow.   Whether its red hair, red lipstick, or a red dress. YOU MUST OWN IT! Now we all know there is something about a good red shoe.  I feel like that without a doubt, I have found some good red shoes!

Interior Design - Blushing Marsala

I couldn't have possibly closed out the week without sharing my design concept using the Pantone's Color of the Year 2015.  I typically go for more of a neutral or masculine take on design, but this time decided to go feminine on this one.  Here is my take on the application of Marsala.  Hopefully you enjoy this design!
