Interior Design - Ben 10 Series - Chromastone

Here is the second alien I decided to go with for the Ben 10 Series.  His name is Chromastone and he is categorized as a Chrystalsapien.  As usual, I was a little apprehensive about the color combination, but I'm pleased about the outcome and I am happy to be back at it again!!!

Interior Design - Ben 10 Series - Rath

Here is the first alien I decided to go for with the Ben 10 Series.  His name is Rath and he is obviously a tiger-like humanoid alien.  "LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING"  I was a little nervous about this color combination going a little Halloween-y, but I am happy with the way it turned out.

Interior Design - Ben 10 Series

Recently I stumbled upon one on my favorite animated series in Wal*Mart.  One day I was sitting here (at my computer) and decided to design a room.  Then next thing I knew created a bedroom that was black, white, and "alien" green.  I loved the deep space walls and the bright green elements, but I just couldn't figure out where this concept came from, until I decided to get a little TV time going.  So I broke the seal and thats when it hit me and I chuckled realizing that my design color inspiration came from  cartoon series.  In that I decided to choose some of my favorite aliens from Ben10, and turn this into a series by using them as design inspiration.

Tastes with Ty - Butternut Squash

I am excited to share this quick and easy recipe with you.

Ingredients
-1/2 tbsp of coconut oil
-1/2 of a cubed butternut squash or about 2 cups
-1/2 an diced onion or 3/4 of a cup
-2 tbsp lemon juice
-1 tsp of oregano
-salt & pepper to taste

Bring a saucepan of water to a boil (make sure it is enough to cover your butternut squash).  Add the butternut squash to boiling water and let boil for 5-7 minutes (just long enough to soften the squash but not enough to turn it to mush).  Right after boiling I drained them and set them aside to move on to the next step.
Add 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil to a sautéing pan at medium heat, and let in heat up for a moment.
Add your onion to the hot coconut oil and sauté to onion until they are slightly translucent.
Next add the drained butternut squash in the same pan with the onions and sauté together.
Pour lemon juice over butternut squash and onion, then add the salt, pepper, and oregano.
Now all you need to do is plate it up and enjoy!
